My early research was in Parasitology and Medical Entomology. Late in my career, I obtained a Diploma and M.Sc. in Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine,
following which I published an analysis of climate and malaria in Nigeria. In 2012, I contributed two analyses to Health in the Post-2015 Development Agenda, Thematic Consultations, and was subsequently accepted as a collaborator in the
Global Burden of Disease Study.
